Maritime Associations release CII policy statement

Major maritime associations have shared a policy statement regarding the Carbon Intensity Indicator (CII).

The following maritime associations (BIMCO, Clia, INTERCARGO, Intermanager, ICS, and Intertanko), each dedicated to the pursuit of net zero emissions by 2050, have shared a policy statement regarding the CII as part of a collective commitment to safe, sustainable shipping on clean oceans.
