Castor Maritime has announced the sale of older panamax

Castor Maritime Inc. has announced that on 14 November 2023, it has completed the sale of the panamax M/V Magic Sun at a price of US$6.55 million, the 2001-built panamax bulk carrier vessel was safely delivered to its new owner.
The company expects to record during the fourth quarter of 2023 a net gain on the sale of the M/V Magic Sun of approximately US$1.0 million, excluding any transaction-related costs.
With the sale concluded Castor has a fleet of 19 vessels, with an aggregate capacity of 1.5 million DWT, consisting of one capesize vessel, six kamsarmax vessels, including the M/V Magic Argo that the company agreed to sell on 22 September 2023, ten panamax dry bulk vessels, including the M/V Magic Phoenix which the company agreed to sell on 16 October 2023, and two 2700 TEU containership vessels.
