Hadley Shipping joins the UK Chamber of Shipping
The UK Chamber of Shipping has announced Hadley Shipping Group as the latest organisation to join the Chamber.
The Hadley Shipping Group, which operates as one of the few remaining family controlled British shipping companies, was confirmed as one of the latest organisations to join the Chamber at the September Board meeting.
Commenting on their membership, James Warwick from Hadley Shipping Group said:
“We are delighted to be joining The Chamber of Shipping and look forward to participating with this organisation that is the voice of UK Shipping through their expert panels and the 180 members that lead and promote British interests in the Maritime world. The Chamber’s influence will be valuable as this organisation will help to formulate policies in a rapidly changing and volatile environment.
“We look forward to participating with this organisation very soon.”
Hadley Shipping will bring experience and expertise to the Chamber. With a large fleet and years of working as a fleet management company, Hadley staff members will be able to bring their years of experience to the range of committees and panels which are run by the Chamber.
Welcoming Hadley Shipping Group to the Chamber, Head of Membership Tony Jerome said:
“The UK Chamber of Shipping is the voice of the UK shipping industry which contributes nearly £20 billion a year to the UK economy and supports over 180 000 jobs across the country. By increasing our membership, we strengthen the collective voice of our sector and I am absolutely delighted to welcome Hadley Shipping Group to the Chamber. With a huge array of committee and panels we believe organisations like Hadley will get a huge amount of benefit from being part of an influential membership body like the Chamber. Everyone associated with the Chamber of Shipping is looking forward to working with Hadley Shipping Group through the coming months and years.”
