Symaga installs hopper silos for new Legumbres Pedro plant
Symaga has completed the assembly works for four hopper silos (SCX0460/08T45) which will soon become part of Legumbres Pedro’s new facilities in Alcalá de los Gazules, Cadiz, Spain.
Equipped with state of the art technology, the new plant is due to be inaugurated in the coming months.
The Symaga silos have been designed to facilitate the primary purpose of the new installations: storing and preserving the quality of legumes prior to processing.
The orders mainly included accessories aimed at protecting the product, such as roof vents for fumigation, which provide a perfect grain aeration with constant air flows; and at the same time Symaga’s special sealing foam for the silo roof helps to prevent the entry of rain or snow and to successfully carry out fumigation treatments.
Other accessories that prevent segregation, grain breakage, and dust creation are include with the grain stopper system, composed of channels and deflector plates.
The silos are also able detect maximum level. To achieve this, very sensitive rotative sensors have been installed, as well as Symaga’s robust membrane sensors to detect minimum level, which do not require power and incorporate a regulation column which allows the sensitivity to be adjusted.
