V.Ships awarded first contract in Shanghai’s free trade zone

V.Ships, part of V.Group, has been awarded its first technical ship management contract in Shanghai’s free trade zone with Minsheng Financial Leasing Co. Ltd (MSFL).
The vessels, four 64 000 DWT ultramax bulk carriers, are under construction at the shipyard of China Shipping Industry Co. Ltd in Jiangsu and due to be delivered over the next year. Technical management for the vessels will be provided by V.Ships’ Shanghai office.
