Dry Bulk,
The Baltic has partnered with Greek software firm DANAOS Management Consultants to offer its customers access to Baltic Exchange data. Under the terms of the agreement, members and customers of the Baltic Exchange will be able to access its freight market information via DANAOS software. This includes dry bulk spot rates and historical data.
More than 6500 vessels globally use DANAOS software which is designed to operate within a vessel’s environment and bilaterally synchronise data to and from shore-based offices.
Welcoming the partnership, Baltic Exchange Chief Executive Mark Jackson said:
“DANAOS has a strong footprint in the Greek market which is home to so many Baltic Exchange members. This licensing arrangement via our popular API is designed to add value to the users of our data and further increase our footprint. We are delighted to collaborate with DANAOS.”
