Diana Shipping amends offer to purchase

Diana Shipping Inc. has announced the filing of a supplement to its offer to purchase dated as of 6 September 2019 relating to the company’s tender offer to purchase up to 1 408 450 shares, or about 1.5%, of its outstanding common stock using funds available from cash and cash equivalents at a price of US$3.55 per share, which tender offer will expire at the end of the day, 5:00 P.M., Eastern Time, on 4 October 2019, unless extended or withdrawn.

The company has filed Supplement No. 1 to offer to purchase dated 12 September 2019, as an exhibit to Amendment No. 1 to Schedule TO dated 12 September 2019 and may be accessed from the Securities and Exchange Commission’s website at www.sec.gov.

Diana Shipping Inc. is a global provider of shipping transportation services through its ownership of dry bulk vessels. The company’s vessels are employed primarily on medium to long-term time charters and transport a range of dry bulk cargoes, including such commodities as iron ore, coal, grain and other materials along worldwide shipping routes.
