Diana Shipping announces new time charter contract

Diana Shipping Inc. has announced that, through a separate wholly-owned subsidiary, it has entered into a time charter contract with Ming Wah International Shipping Co. Ltd, for one of its kamsarmax dry bulk vessels, the m/v Leonidas P. C.

The gross charter rate was US$17 000, minus a 5% commission paid to third parties, for a period until minimum 20 August 2025 up to maximum 20 October 2025. The charter has been expected to commence on 21 February 2024.

The Leonidas P. C. is a 82 165 DWT kamsarmax dry bulk vessel built in 2011.

The employment of the Leonidas P. C. has been anticipated to generate approximately US$9.18 million of gross revenue for the minimum scheduled period of the time charter.
