Jinhui Shipping leases a dry bulk vessel under a Charterparty

The board of Jinhui Shipping and Transportation Ltd announced that a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company entered into the Charterparty with Shining Steamship International S.A. on 8 December for the leasing of the M.V. Ever Shining for a minimum term of 22 months commencing on the date of delivery. Delivery is expected to be between 19 December and 25 December.
The charterer will go to a subsidiary, Goldbeam Shipping Inc., which will charter the vessel for the specified period. The vessel in question is a 2021-built kamsarmax at 81 842 DWT and was registered in the Republic of Liberia.
The daily hire rate for the vessel is US$14 250 for the first 12 months and US$14 750 for the balance periods; both come with a 3.75% address commission. The total minimum hire payment under the Charterparty was estimated to be US$8.5 million, based on minimum hire period, net of address commission.
