On 3 June 2024, in the port of Veracruz, Mexico, the Valovine was handed over to the buyer of the ship, the company Stem Marine LLC, based in the Republic of the Marshall Islands.
The Valovine has a carrying capacity of 52 000 DWT and was built in 2016 in the shipyard Uljanik Brodogradilište d.d. It was handed over by the previous owner, Valovine LLC with headquarters in the Republic of Marshall Islands and which is represented by the subsidiary Alpha DCM Investments, in which the Alpha Adriatic Group participates with a share of 50%.
During the handover, the ship changed its name to Serenity, and it was signed with the new owner contract by which the ship was entrusted to the Alpha Adriatic Group for technical and personnel management. As a result Alpha Adriatic Group has acquired a new client and expanded its network of external users of ship management services, in a direction in which the company and the Alpha Adriatic Group plan to continue to develop strategically.
