Diana Shipping announces time charter contract

Diana Shipping Inc. has announced that, through a separate wholly-owned subsidiary, it has entered into a time charter contract with Louis Dreyfus Co. Freight Asia Pte. Ltd., for one of its Ice Class panamax dry bulk vessels, the m/v Crystalia.
The gross charter rate was US$13 900, minus a 5% commission paid to third parties, for a period of minimum 21 months to maximum 25 months. The charter has been expected to commence during the 2Q24.
The Crystalia is a 77 525 DWT Ice Class panamax dry bulk vessel built in 2014.
The employment of Crystalia is anticipated to generate approximately US$8.76 million of gross revenue for the minimum scheduled period of the time charter.
