In 2021, the Novotrans Group of Companies continues to work actively as part of the implementation of the strategy to expand the range of transported goods and enlarge the loading range of its own rolling stock. In addition to the West Siberian railway, a significant share of shipments is now carried out on the Moscow, South-East, South Ural, and other highways in Russia. Compared to the period before the pandemic, the holding has tripled the loading of metallurgical and construction cargo.
The diversification carried out by the holding is also aimed at ensuring the future cargo base of the LUGAPORT terminal, which the holding is building in the seaport of Ust-Luga, Leningrad Region, Russia. The diversified transport and logistics complex will be designed for transshipment of bulk, general, grain, and food cargo with a total volume of more than 24.3 million tpy. The terminal will be commissioned at the end of 2024.
