A&P joins UK Chamber of Shipping

A&P Group has become the latest organisation to join the UK Chamber of Shipping.

A&P Group now has access to the benefits of being part of the UK’s largest shipping industry trade body.

The Chamber now has almost 200 members and is the voice of the UK shipping industry. It works with Government, parliament, international organisations, and others to champion and protect the industry on behalf of its members.

A&P is the UK’s largest ship repair business, operating six drydocks across the UK. All of its facilities are underpinned by a strong commitment to health and safety and award winning HSEQ policies.

David McGinley, Chief Executive Officer of Cammell Laird Ship Repairers and Shipbuilders and Atlantic & Peninsula Marine Services, said:

“A&P Group is proud to join the UK Chamber of Shipping and we look forward to meeting our fellow members and benefiting from the opportunities it affords.”

Welcoming A&P Group to the Chamber, Head of Membership Tony Jerome said:
