Pilbara Ports Authority reports August shipping figures

Pilbara Ports Authority has delivered a total monthly throughput of 60.5 million t for August 2020. This throughput was a 3% decrease compared to the same month in 2019.
The Port of Port Hedland achieved a monthly throughput of 46.6 million t of which 46 million t was iron ore exports. The monthly throughput was a 1% increase from August 2019.
Imports through the Port of Port Hedland totalled 188 000 t, an increase of 5% from the same month in 2019.
The Port of Dampier delivered a total monthly throughput of 12.9 million t, a decrease of 13% from August 2019.
Imports through the Port of Dampier totalled 112 000 t, an increase of 13% from the same month in 2019.
