Dry Bulk,
This year saw the Werl-based company Schulte Strathaus present its STARCLEAN® business segment at BAUMA 2019 under the slogan ‘heroes of spillage control. Larger-than-life hero images welcomed visitors to the exhibition stand where innovative system solutions for material handling were showcased.
BAUMA in Munich presents the construction sector at its best. Boasting exhibition space of 614 000 m², 3700 exhibitors from 63 countries and over 600 000 visitors, it is the world’s biggest trade fair for construction equipment, building material machinery, mining machinery and the like.
Schulte Strathaus’ STARCLEAN business unit introduced the following products to the many visitors attending:
- The innovative STARCLEAN conveyor belt cleaners.
- Impact cradles for belt conveyors designed to protect the conveyor belt at transfer points
- Belt trackers for conveyor belt alignment.
- The closed conveyor belt system SafeBelt® with its optimal curve radii and weather-proof material conveying, to name but two features.
In addition to its automatic 830-E tensioning device for STARCLEAN conveyor belt cleaners Schulte Strathaus also presented a highlight – an innovation that allows service jobs to be performed even more efficiently and safely than before. This innovative new development allows maintenance staff to replace the wear parts from outside the belt conveyor. This means that maintenance personnel no longer have to work inside the belt conveyor unit – rendering cost-intensive scaffolding superfluous and increasing workers’ safety on site. At the same time, this cuts downtimes for maintenance.
Schulte Strathaus operates with numerous representations around the world, thereby guaranteeing customer proximity. For the first time, these international representatives met for the first STARCLEAN NIGHT on the third day of BAUMA 2019 – enabling the exchange of information across all borders and continents as well as personal networking.
Schulte Strathaus ended BAUMA 2019 with positive results, strong visitor attendance and plenty of praise for its modern and striking exhibition stand and is now directing its attention to BAUMA 2022 – where new heroic feats can be expected.
