Symaga overviews its work with Vicking Malt on the Finmalt project

Vicking Malt’s latest project has become a unique reference point, both for the Finnish company itself and Symaga; due to its dimensions, and because of it being the storage plant for which Symaga has manufactured the most different kinds of hopper silos to date.

Symaga overviews its work with Vicking Malt on the Finmalt project

Symaga supplied Bühler with a total number of 78 silos, comprised of 15 different types of metal hopper silo. This specific project highlighted the value of offering a wide product portfolio of hopper silos, ranging from 5 to 2649 m3 in capacity, and including three different hopper angles to choose from: 45°, 60°, and 66°.

Viking malt defines itself as the world’s leading malting company of special malts. Its malts come from the purest fields of Northern Europe and are distributed to many breweries all around the world for crafting unique beers.

The new plant was a great challenge for Viking Malt, and it has become one of the largest investments in the food and beverage sector of the Finish industry in the recent years – a space where approximately 40 companies have worked together towards building a state of the art malting plant, with the latest cutting edge technology at all production levels.

Symaga has announced that it is proud to be have worked on this project, together with Bühler, and is looking forward to being part of the next challenge in the storage industry.
