Bedeschi signs shiploader agreement

Bedeschi S.p.a. has signed an agreement for the supply of two shiploaders for the handling of muriate of potash, rock salt and vacuum salt to equip supplier’s new port facilities in Barcelona Port Terminal, including the engineering, manufacturing, delivery, erection, installation, testing and commissioning.
The two SHL are conceived for vessels up to 70 000 DWT and a nominal conveying capacity of 1300 tph, with a peak of 1500 tph.
The machines were fully assembled in La Spezia (Italy) and the first one was shipped on 27 December to be delivered to the final destination. The second one is expected to reach Barcelona port by the end of this week.
