New Managing Director appointed for Cimbria East Africa

Steen Andersen has joined the team in Cimbria East Africa, in Kenya, as Business Unit Lead and Managing Director of Cimbria East Africa.
Andersen is appointed a successor for Joergen T. Nielsen in his capacity of Business Unit Lead and Managing Director of Cimbria East Africa.
Joergen T. Nielsen started the Cimbria activities in Kenya in 1979 and has over the years built the Cimbria East Africa business, team and brand to what it is today. Joergen will continue his work in Cimbria where he will use his great experience and many years in Africa as part of the sales team, with a clear focus to lead the commercial activities reporting to Steen Andersen.
In his recent role, Andersen has been responsible for DLF in Russia and Czech Republic as CEO of DLF Seeds S.R.O. Steen has in this role developed the business and organisation in Russia and Czech Republic to be an important part of DLF’s growth.
Cimbria East Africa continues to be an important part of Cimbria’s African strategy and operations and the appointment is part of a succession plan to ensure the mid- and long-term management of Cimbria East Africa.
