The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food has said that, currently, this season (2017/2018, running from July to June) has seen Ukraine export 15.7 million t of wheat, 15.3 million t of maize and 4.19 million t of barley.
The country harvested 61.3 million t of grain throughout 2017, a decrease from the previous year’s record of 66 million t.
The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food stated that Ukraine could export approximately 41 million t of grain this season.
Ukrainian export prices for milling wheat (11.5%) averaged between US$1 - 2 million/t the week ending 13 May.
