NIBULON is almost ready to put into operation the additional grain storage capacity in Hola Prystan, Ukraine. Due to the construction of the three additional grain silos, the grain storage capacity of Holoprystanska branch (Kherson region) will be increased up to 97 900 t. At present the company’s specialists have started commissioning work. Once the equipment is tested, the single automated system of grain and oilseeds receipt, processing, and shipment will start its operation.

The specialists have already finished all the general construction works at Holoprystanska branch, in particular they have constructed three silos of 7300 t each (approximately 22 000 t total) to store grain, leguminous, and oilseeds, produced by AGI (Canada), a loading overpass, and an unloading transport gallery.

The workers have mounted all the required equipment. The specialists have installed the chain and belt conveyers produced by Cimbria Unigrain A/S (Denmark), the peeling augers produced by Morillon (France), as well as a modern aspiration system with airways and dust cleaning equipment.

At present the company’s specialists have started commissioning work; they are currently testing equipment. At the same time the territory is almost arranged, in particular the workers have renewed concrete pavement.

An individual entrepreneur from Mykolaiv, Kondratiuk V.S., which is NIBULON’s long-standing and reliable partner, has become the general contractor. More than 100 people were involved in constructing, meeting all the quarantine requirements in the country.

“Having increased the transhipment terminal capacity, the company created additional conditions to develop the agrarian sector in the region and to improve NIBULON’s environmental and logistics activities. This will enable the company to extend co-operation with new grain product suppliers. All the grain received by Holoprystanska transhipment terminal is shipped and delivered to the company’s sea terminal in Mykolaiv or directly to the outer roads by water transport. Due to NIBULON's more efficient river terminal, the company will increase the volume of agricultural commodity receipt and remove about 12 500 trucks from the highways annually,” tells Mykola Miagchenko, the Holoprystanska Branch Director.

Considering that the company’s transhipment terminals and silos are in great demand among agricultural commodity producers, at the beginning of 2020 NIBULON has increased the production capacity at Voznesenska branch in Mykolaiv region. The total silo capacity is approximately 98 000 t at the facility.

NIBULON’s total grain storage capacity is more than 2.2 million t.
