MINSHIP welcomes new-build bulk carrier
MINSHIP has announced the addition of the new-build bulk carrier MV Romy to its fleet.
The MV Romy is a 38 000 DWAT new-build double skinned bulk carrier from the Shimanami yard in Japan.
Upon the vessel’s delivery it entered into a long-term period charter to MINCHART a member of the MINSHIP Group.
In its company statement announcing the news of the delivery, MINSHIP thanked all the parties for their cooperation in bringing the project to life. Greetings were also sent to the crew of the Romy, as well as best wishes for smooth seas and favourable currents ahead at all times.

Technology group Wärtsilä will upgrade the Wärtsilä RT-flex main engines on two bulk carrier vessels owned by Turkey-based Ulusoy Sealines.
