Dry Bulk,
Veson Nautical, a provider or maritime software and services, has added ten new clients to its growing user community, the company said in a recent press release.
The new customers include Singapore-based Cheng Xin Shipmanagement, DCC Bulk Transport, Emirates National Oil Co. Singapore and Galeon Navigation, Swiss companies Windrose SPS and Trammo AG (Commodities Division), UAE-based Metalloinvest and Chembulk Tankers, Interlake Steamship Co. and Rand Logistics based in the northeast USA region.
Chembulk, Interlake and Rand Logistics join existing Veson clients CSL, Algoma, and Fednav, as major operators within the Great Lakes region. The recent additions span a range of shipping industry trades, including dry bulk, wet and chemical.
The company also noted a shift in user preferences toward cloud-hosted versions of its products.”Our client partners are increasingly interested in the benefits of cloud computing and hosted access, which eliminate capital IT investment and provide quick accessibility over the web,” said Agya Garg, Vice President of Product at Veson.
“This year more than 70% of new clients have opted for IMOSLive and Veslink, rather than self-hosting IMOS on-premise.”
