Scorpio Bulkers enters time charter-out agreements

Scorpio Logistics has entered into time charter-out agreements for three dry bulk carriers. The agreements cover two ultramax vessels, the SBI Leo and SBI Achilles, and one kamsarmax vessel, the SBI Cakewalk.
The SBI Leo agreement will last between five and seven months at a rate of US$9000 per day, while the SBI Achilles agreement will last between six and eight months at a rate of US$11 000 per day.
The kamsarmax SBI Cakewalk will be contracted for five to eight months at a rate of US$9000 per day.
Scorpio Bulkers owns 41 vessels, consisting of 15 kamsarmax and 16 ultramax ships. Ultramax ships has a capacity of 57 000 – 66 000 DWT, while kamsarmax ships, with a maximum length f 229 m, as designed to berth as the Port of Kamsar, a major loading terminal for bauxite.
