Jinhui Shipping has signed an agreement to dispose of a vessel

The Board of Jinhui Shipping and Transportation Ltd has announced that a subsidiary of the company entered into a memorandum of agreement on 12 December for the disposal of a supramax at an initially estimated price of US$10.43 million.
The vessel will be delivered by the subsidiary Jinsheng Marine Inc. to the purchaser, Uniglory Shipping Ltd, between 25 December 2023 and 25 January 2024.
The vessel in question is a supramax 52,050 DWT dry bulk carrier called Jin Sheng which was constructed in 2006 and registered in Hong Kong. An initial deposit of US$1 043 000 for the disposal will be payable to the purchaser within three banking days after the signing of the agreement. The remaining balance of US$9 387 000 will be payable upon the delivery of the vessel.
Once the disposal of the Jin Sheng and the other vessel to be disposed the company's fleet will consist of 22 owned vessels and two charted-in vessels with a total carrying capacity of 1 445 722 t.
