KWS Manufacturing Co. has received recertification from the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors to repair pressure vessels. The National Board Inspection Code (NBIC) is an internationally recognised standard that provides information and guidance to verify and document acceptable repairs or alterations to pressure vessels. Pressure vessels repaired in accordance with the NBIC receive an “R” stamp on the nameplate of the vessel.
“Receiving recertification to the NBIC shows our commitment to our customers and our desire for continuous improvement. KWS is the only screw conveyor manufacturer in the world that is certified to NBIC, ASME and ISO 9001 standards. These certifications allow KWS to provide the highest quality equipment and service. Our quality system ensures that our equipment is designed and manufactured to rigid specifications and validated by exceeding performance expectations,” commented KWS President, Bill Mecke, P.E.
