United Wagon Company to enter The Railway Supply Institute

United Wagon Company, a company specialising in innovative railcar building in the 1520 mm gauge area, represented by its subsidiary Uniwagon North America Corp. (USA), has entered the International association The Railway Supply Institute.
Membership in RSI gives the holding the opportunity to actively represent its interests and to promote the Russian products in the North American market.
On the territory of North America, RSI unites more than 250 companies –suppliers of equipment, rolling stock and services to the market of freight traffic and passenger rail travel. The association aims at providing support to its members in the issues of enhancement of railway industry standards and entering international markets, as well as representing their interests in regulatory and law making processes.
Since 2013 RPC UWC has also been a member of Association of American Railroads, AAR, which is uniting the largest producers of rolling stock, machine-building equipment; it also unites the owners of railway infrastructure of the counties of North America.
