Dry Bulk,
Veson Nautical, a provider of commercial maritime software and services, and Norvic Shipping, a global operator of dry bulk vessels, have announced the completion of the latter’s migration from Veson’s IMOSlive system to the cloud-based Veslink IMOS Platform (VIP).
Norvic Shipping made the switch to VIP in order to increase operational efficiency and reach by providing employees with 24 hr/d universal access to business systems and introducing dynamic cloud-based updates and features on a continuous basis.
“A critical element behind the expansion of our partnership with Veson, is that we see Veson continuing to invest in the development of the product and in maintaining a high service and support standard,” explained Majbritt Jacobsen, Head of Business Process & Applications at Norvic. “The ability to drill down in our data and present the findings in an intuitive format is becoming increasingly important in driving our P&L focus. The Veslink IMOS Platform provides this ability.”
