Hoffmann Green to build production site at Port of Dunkirk

Dry Bulk,

Hoffmann Green has signed a 40-year autorisation d’occupation temporaire, or temporary occupation permit (AOT) in Dunkirk Major Sea Port (Grand Port Maritime de Dunkerque – GPMD) in order to build the company’s third production site (H3) on a 5 ha. (12 acre) plot of land.

To date, this agreement is in the form of a reservation protocol, Hoffmann Green will thus take possession of the land when the current occupant has finalised its operations to evacuate the site.

The location of the new site is in line with the company’s strategic plan, as it lies next to rail and river links and will provide additional sea access connecting it to the storage silos in the port of La Rochelle. It is also consistent with GPMD’s strategy of developing industry to generate new maritime traffic in its port terminals.
