Navis receives the “Best Technology Innovation of the Year Award,” at the recent Terminal Operator Excellence Awards ceremony held in Dubai.
Guenter Schmidmeir, Vice President and General Manager, EMEA accepted the award on behalf of Navis at the awards gala on 8 December 2016.
The Terminal Operator Excellence Awards is hosted by Terminal Operator and FlipFlop Media group. The Best Technology Innovation of the Year Award recognises a software project, product or process undertaken by a company in the last year that is unique and innovative. The initiative should have contributed positively both to the client company while also providing a gold standard for information technology solutions for the industry at large.
“The recognition by Terminal Operator is a great honour for Navis and all of our hard working employees who are committed to delivering our best-in-class services in an effective and efficient manner to our clients around the world,” said Schmidmeir. “As a company, Navis has been on the forefront of technology innovation in the marine shipping industry, helping container terminals work smarter and faster, for nearly 30 years. We look forward to continuing to evolve our modern and flexible platform to empower terminal operators to keep up with changing industry demands for years to come.”
