Associated British Ports (ABP) has appointed Chris Green as Port Manager for Hull and Goole, based in Hull, and joins the Humber Leadership Team on 13 March 2017.
Chris joined ABP in 2001 as a management trainee on the company’s graduate scheme and spent four years in the Humber before joining the regional team in South Wales. Chris worked as a Sales & Marketing manager for six years before becoming an Assistant Port Manager in 2012 and then a Port Manager in 2015. As part of Chris' Port Manager role he also headed the Operations team in South Wales, so brings to the Humber a deep understanding and appreciation of the complex world of port operations, shipping and logistics.
Chris is currently heavily involved in the M4 relief road project working as part of a wider project team involving Property and Legal colleagues. This project requires some ongoing essential stakeholder engagement work, including the presentation of evidence at a Public Inquiry during the spring and summer.
