LogisticsConnect is the new conference and exhibition from CONGRESS BREMEN. It will take place in the Bremen Exhibition and Conference Centre from 6 – 7 March 2025.
The event concept was developed jointly by two strong partners: bremenports GmbH & Co. KG and BHV – Bremische Hafen- und Logistikvertretung e.V. LogisticsConnect is an expert forum accompanied by an exhibition and will be held annually in Bremen. Within the framework of Germany's national port strategy, the conference and exhibition will create an opportunity for networking and information exchange that will benefit the entire world of project logistics.
The newly developed format is tailored above all to shipping companies – from areas including plant and machine construction, the automotive, wind power and steel industries, and forestry – and to companies that operate in project logistics, packaging and forwarding. The extensive programme covers current market developments and technical innovations in project logistics, digitalisation in the port and logistics industry, sustainability and attracting personnel.
"Northern Germany offers a whole ecosystem of excellent break bulk and project logistics solutions. So, after our successful BHV Project Logistics forums in the Bremen State Parliament, it was the next logical step to establish a suitable conference in the Bremen Exhibition and Conference Centre", says Dr.-Ing. Patric Drewes, a member of the Board of BHV.
Robert Howe, the Managing Director of bremenports, adds: "Bremen's ports offer extremely high performance, especially in break bulk handling. We are looking forward to demonstrating this not only at our quays, but also in the new forum together with M3B GmbH and BHV".
With BHV and bremenports, CONGRESS BREMEN has secured two partners who actively contributed and continue to contribute their expertise to the development of the format. They provide crucial input when it comes to specialist subjects and programme development. The organisers also intend to involve the states of Lower Saxony and Hamburg.
Bremen is Europe's largest terminal for break bulk, heavy and project cargoes. Internationally leading companies and global operators have made their home in Bremen. "That's why it's an obvious move to hold this industry event here," says Hans Peter Schneider, Managing Director of M3B GmbH, which includes CONGRESS BREMEN. "The relocation of BreakBulk Europe to Rotterdam has created a vacuum for the local port and logistics industry. The LogisticsConnect will fill this gap.“ For the premiere next March, the organisers expect 50 exhibitors and around 1000 visitors.
