British Ports Association (BPA) launches its sustainable development resolution that aims to promote a sustainable framework in the UK that both allows ports to flourish economically but which also preserves natural habitats.
On Saturday 11 August, the Peak Pegasus dry cargo vessel reached the port of Dalian after being docked off China’s coast for a month, after China’s introduction of hefty tariffs on US goods.
The agreement, for as many as 20 years, was approved 16 August by the Manatee County Port Authority, and ensures property lease payments totalling US$1.8 million for the initial five year term, in addition to wharfage payments for annual cargo throughputs.
