Solent Stevedores has announced the appointment of Clive Thomas as Commercial Director. The former Head of Commercial and Property at ABP’s Port of Southampton will join the Solent Stevedores Board on 16 August to help drive the company’s ambitious plans for growth.

The company is now building on this track record by appointing Clive who has undertaken several senior roles at ports in Southampton, South Wales, and on the Humber over more than 25 years in the UK ports industry. With a wealth of knowledge and expertise covering all types of cargo, port operations and port-related businesses, Clive will help Solent cement and build new partnerships for the future, delivering further growth at the Port of Southampton and beyond.
