RCI Ukraine has successfully finalised the last ring test in order to become a ‘GAFTA’ approved analyst. The ring tests have to be completed to assess the ability of an applicant analyst to produce accurate and reliable data.
The laboratory, based in Mariupol, already obtained the ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation in 2013 and is now also officially approved to issue analytical certificates for grain products, which are traded under the terms and conditions of GAFTA contracts, on behalf of both buyers and sellers.
The approval gives the advantage to RCI group companies to offer it's services on a broader range of commodities, enabling to protect the interest of it's customers on a broader scale.
In order to keep the approval, RCI Ukraine have to continue to demonstrate their ability on a continuing basis by means of two annual ring tests.
Additionally, various services are also offered on fertilizers and other agricultural products, such as wheat, animal feed, oilseeds, food and vegetables.
Having obtained the ISO:9001 and working according to the procedures of ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation standards allows the company to offer services such as inspection, sampling, weight determination and loading compartment inspection during loading supervision to ensure that only the products that meet all required quality specifications are loaded and transported, in order to fully protect the customers' interests and global health.
