November 2018

In this issue of World Cement, we turn our focus to the Middle East and North Africa with two case studies of recent projects from this region: the conversion of a plant in Saudi Arabia to dual production of grey and white cement and the development of waste co-processing in Egypt. Technical articles focus on vertical milling, the use of alternative fuels in calciners, bagging and packing, and filtration, ESPs, and baghouses, among others. We also have two special reports: one looking at sustainability and the other on skills and training.
