Bedeschi has a new project for Italcementi

The installation includes a crushing group, to be installed in open field, receiving incoming material discharged by dumping trucks. Because of the high humidity, the clay is very sticky. Bedeschi has a long-term experience in engineering equipment able to function with all kind of materials and in any weather condition.

The hoppers’ internal surfaces are lined with specific material, suitable to reduce adhesion of material to the walls (anti-clogging). The apron feeder is 10 m long and 2 m wide, in order to correctly receive the material and properly feed the double roller crusher. The key feature of the scraping blade (which assures a very good cleaning of the apron blades) and the pro-posed design for the chain (based on Bedeschi’s design) and the blades is considering a roller type chain – having the bending radius of each blade corresponding to the radius covered by the apron in correspondence with the driving shaft.

The robust design and the rigidity of the blades are further enhanced by a U-channel profile welded to the lower part of apron blades, providing a total apron blade thickness of more than 120 mm.

Pans are hinged, thus allowing a no-spillage of fines (the spillage will be sensibly higher in the case of overlapped pans). The Bedeschi Double Roller Crusher is a heavy-duty equipment, with rollers 2 m long and capacity of 400 tpy, with two motors of 110 KW each installed.
