BMT welcomes new Managing Director

BMT Design & Technology (BMT), a leading international design, engineering and risk management consultancy, has announced the appointment of Peter Behrendt as Managing Director.
Previously Head of the Ports and Terminals business unit within Saab, Behrendt has a strong track record of business transformation and hands-on leadership within both the naval and civil maritime domain.
Jeremy Berwick, BMT’s Managing Director of Defence, commented: “I am absolutely delighted to be welcoming Peter to BMT's defence team. He is a proven business leader with an impressive track record across international defence and infrastructure programmes that will serve BMT very well as we continue to grow our defence and security interests in the Australian market."
Behrendt has a Graduate Certificate in Systems Engineering, a Graduate Diploma of Marine Science and an Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management.
