Update from TOC Events
Published by Lydia Woellwarth,
Paul Holloway, Event Director – TOC Events Worldwide, has released a statement to TOC stakeholders to explain the change in event dates for TOC Europe and TOC Americas.
“We would like to thank all of you for your honest and constructive feedback regarding this year’s TOC Europe and TOC Americas events, scheduled to take place on 7 - 9 September in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, and 26 - 28 October in Lima, Peru, respectively.
“At TOC, we are wholly committed to delivering the high-value business and networking events that the industry wants and deserves. You have told us that while you are extremely keen to meet and get together in-person, due to the ongoing global travel restrictions in place, you feel that this year’s TOC Europe and TOC Americas would benefit from a revised date and format.
“We have listened to this feedback, and can confirm that both events will now take place in 2022, with exact dates released later this year.
“However, there is still a strong desire across the industry for an in-person meeting in 2021. With this in mind, we are delighted to announce that TOC will be hosting a one-off event later this year, to ensure that port technology and equipment manufacturers have a place to meet terminal operators and to do business face-to-face.
“With the safety and security of all attendees as a priority, this condensed in-person TOC event will take place in Rotterdam in October 2021 and will be complemented by a global digital meeting place spread over several weeks. Look out for the official announcement of this new TOC concept coming soon! Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to seeing you all in person in the near future.”
