Erik Thun orders two multi-purpose dry cargo vessels

The Erik Thun Group has announced the addition of four new vessels ordered with two being multi-purpose dry cargo vessels which will be built by Shipsveerf Ferus Smit B.V. in the Netherlands. The new ships bring the company's current orderbook from Shipveerf Ferus Smit B.V up to 14 vessels and its current orderbook up to 15 vessels in total.
The signed contracts cover two multi-purpose dry cargo vessels with 5100 DWT and Ice class 1B; Erik Thun's next generation of ’Lake Vanern Max’ ships fit for operating in Lake Vänern in Sweden. The two orders will complete a line of six multi-purpose dry cargo vessels on order.
