ABP welcomes Phil Nolan

ABP has appointed Phil Nolan as Non-Executive Chairman of Associated British Ports Holdings Ltd. Phil replaces Robert Walvis who retired as Chairman on 28 February. Mr Nolan took up his new role on 4 July.
Mr Nolan is currently also Non-Executive Chairman of Ulster Bank Ireland DAC, John Laing Group Plc and Affinity Water Ltd.
Having been educated at Queen’s University, Belfast, where he graduated with a PhD in Geology, Mr Nolan worked with British Petroleum, British Gas and served as CEO of Eircom, Ireland’s national telecommunications supplier from 2002 to 2006.
ABP Chief Executive, James Cooper, said: “Phil brings with him a wealth of expertise and experience from a wide range of businesses.”
