Pilbara Ports Authority announces July shipping figures

Pilbara Ports Authority has delivered a total monthly throughput of 52.9 million t for the month of July 2017.
This is a slight decrease of 3000 t from the same month in 2016.
The Port of Port Hedland achieved a monthly throughput of 38.7 million t, a decrease of 1% from the previous year.
Iron ore exports for the month totalled 37.9 million t, a decrease of 2% from last year.
Imports totalled 135 000 t, an increase of 29% from the same month in 2016.
The Port of Dampier delivered a total monthly throughput of 14.2 million t, an increase of 2% from the previous year.
Imports totalled 71 000 t, an increase of 24% from the previous year.
