Dry Bulk,
After 16 years with an office in China, Klaveness has decided to focus its activities in Klaveness Shanghai on operations only. The company will continue its presence in China with an Operations Manager/Port Captain and the site team at YZJ shipyard. As a consequence, the company will no longer have chartering staff in China as of 1 September 2019.
Klaveness is still strongly committed to the Chinese market and the Singapore office will become responsible for all clients in China. In addition, we are happy that Xiaobin Huang has agreed to act as a closely associated broker for Klaveness and will be involved in follow up of existing clients and in the developing of new customers for Klaveness.
“Klaveness is fully committed to the Chinese shipping market. We have a significant new building programme, we will continue our operations presence and will continue to actively serve our Chinese customers from our Singapore office and through our Chinese affiliates”, said Lasse Kristoffersen, CEO of Torvald Klaveness.
