This month, World Cement turns to China and Taiwan for its regional report. The China Cement Association discusses the influence of the country’s development strategy, and the Taiwan Cement Corporation provides an insight into Taiwanese investments in China. The March issue also includes articles on comminution, alternative fuels, XRF/XRD analysis, process control and automation, as well as the role of consultants in the cement industry. Also, in anticipation of the upcoming IEEE-IAS/PCA Cement Industry Conference, Paul Maxwell-Cook interviews this year’s Chair and Vice Chair.
