Dry Bulk,
Earlier this month, Cleveland Cascades Ltd had an engineer on site in Barcelona Port to work alongside its client, Bedeschi.
The site services undertaken were for the commissioning of its Cascade chute systems CC893 and CC894.
The chutes have been operational for some time now, but due to COVID-19 restrictions, a CCL engineer was unable to attend site until now.
The Cascade chutes provided are working on Bedeschi shiploaders for the controlled loading of potash and salt, with loading rates of 1000 tph, up to a maximum rate of 1500 tph.
With two slightly different materials being handled, and a range of loading rates, the chutes commissioning is essential to achieve the best possible results.
Following commissioning, the chutes are now able to load consistently with both materials across the clients required loading rate range and deliver clean loading with minimal dust emissions for the Port of Barcelona.
