Navios Maritime appoints Orthodoxia Zisimatou to board

Navios Maritime Partners L.P., an international owner and operator of dry bulk vessels, has announced the appointment of Mrs. Orthodoxia Zisimatou to its Board of Directors.
Mrs. Zisimatou, lawyer by training, has been focused on the maritime sectors since she became a member of the Athens Bar since 1988. She is currently Secretary General of the Union of Piraeus Shipping Lawyers.
“We are delighted Mrs. Zisimatou has joined our board and believe that her deep understanding of shipping and maritime law will significantly benefit the Company,” said Ms. Angeliki Frangou, Chairman and CEO of Navios Maritime Partners L.P.
Navios Partners has also announced that Dimitris Papastefanou Gkouras, a director of Navios Partners’ since June 2013, has resigned. Ms. Frangou commented, “We thank Mr. Papastefanou Gkouras for his valuable contribution and his good service to the Company. We wish him well in his future ventures.”
