Pilbara Ports announces it delivered 67 million t in November 2024

Pilbara Ports delivered a total monthly throughput of 67 million t in November 2024. This is a nine per cent increase when compared to the total monthly throughput in November 2023.
The Port of Port Hedland achieved a monthly throughput of 49.3 million t, of which 48.8 million t was iron ore exports. This is an 8% increase when compared to the total monthly throughput in November 2023.
Imports through the Port of Port Hedland totalled 168 216 t, which is a 9% decrease when compared to November 2023.
The Port of Dampier delivered a total throughput of 15.2 million t, a 3% increase from November 2023.
Imports through the Port of Dampier totalled 144 939 t, an increase of 6% from November 2023.
Several factors influence the fluctuation of throughput, including changes in market conditions, port maintenance operations and proponent needs.
