Cleveland Cascades is to supply a system for loading limestone to Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. The system is to be one of the company’s 1700 size systems designed to load limestone at 3300 t or 2445 m3/h. This size system is capable of loading up to 2800 m3/h.
The system is to include a pivoting style head chute mounted to a luffing boom shiploader. The extended length of the system is to be 18 m with a retracted height of 7.5 m.
The head chute will be lined with CR2 hard faced tiles whilst the 1700 sized GRP cones are to be lined with 5 mm hardox for abrasion protection.
Along with the main system a secondary spout is also to be supplied as a spare to allow for change over during maintenance and cleaning.
The system will be fitted with a full suite of electrical components for safety and automation.
