Symaga silos has completed the installation of a new drilling centre, boosting its steel profile automatic processes range. This line brings a new era in drilling thanks to the high productivity of the new model.

Symaga silos’ top value added resides in its manufacturing quality. To attain high manufacturing standards, the company’s continued investment plan targets a minimal annual investment of €3 million.

The goal is to achieve a full automatisation of its factory and full traceability control. In 2015, automatisation reached 80% of the processes. Between 2016 and 2018, all the punching and profiling lines were automated, bringing productivity up by 30% for some production lines. In late 2019, this new drilling system was acquired, and the welding and bending lines were also improved. In 2020, alongside with the roll out of a new ICT infrastructure, the company plans the addition of a new bending section.

Symaga group takes part in the world’s largest storage projects as this continued investment in new technologies and human resources brings about an enhanced technical and manufacturing capacity, positioning the company among the top silo manufacturers.
