Dry Bulk,

Haver & Boecker’s ADAMS® technology stands for the filling of powdery products into warertight form-fill-seal packages. Developed for the building materials market, it is also used in the minerals, chemicals, and food industries. To date, the company has sold more than 500 ADAMS filling spouts.

Loose bulk materials are weighed cleanly and precisely, before being filled into watertight packaging. The work surroundings are dust free and employees stay protected. Production time losses due to cleaning and maintenance are reduced, as are cleaning, operating, and maintenance costs. The process is reliable and stable.

PE packages are tear resistant and durable. Less damage during transport and storage also leads to fewer complaints. Resources are able to be optimally use and CO2 emissions are reduced. Secure transport and clean handling prevents possible product loss along the supply and storage chain, thus protecting the environment from contamination by hazardous contents. The entire production quantity gets sold and this secures sales turnover.

The filled bags are watertight and weatherproof, and can thus be stored outside at the point of sale, next to complementary products. They guarantee product protection along the supply and storage chain, even under extreme climatic conditions. Moreover, a long shelf life and high quality are ensured, which is a particular advantage of hygroscopic materials. Through the use of ADAMS® technology, the constant utilisation of product and improved planning of production is possible.

The system allows fluctuations in bulk density during the filling process can be evened out. Efficient product compaction during packing ensures compact bags that have a low volume and a secure-looking pallet appearance. Due to optimal bag volume, less film is required, which leads to savings in packaging material. Loading volume and transport costs are optimised.

The PE bags can be emptied free of trickling residue, easily disposed of, and recycled or used as sustainable fuel. This reduces CO2 emissions and the use of primary energy, thus making a contribution to sustainability.

PE packaging is considered hygienic packaging for highly sensitive foodstuffs by hygiene experts. This is because the smooth surface prevents bacteria and microorganisms from taking root. The ROTO-PACKER ADAMS CARE-LINE EDITION unified proven components under new hygiene aspects. It stands for hygienic product filling in PE bags with maximum protection for the filled products.
