John Heasley appointed Weir Group CFO

The Board of The Weir Group PLC has reported the appointment of John Heasley as Chief Financial Officer. The appointment takes place with immediate effect.

John has worked with Weir since 2008. He joined the company as Group Financial Controller and has since held a number of financial and operational roles across the business.

Weir Group Chairman, Charles Berry, commented: “I am delighted to welcome John to the Board as Chief Financial Officer. He brings a broad range of experience to the role, including significant financial and operational success in several roles within the Group. I am certain he will play a big part in Weir’s future success.”

John Heasley succeeds Jon Stanton.

Under his leadership, Flow Control achieved significant operational and financial improvement.
